Happy 5th Birthday, Jackson!

Jackson had a great birthday! Friday, March 9, he woke up and we had donuts and got ready for school. Jeremy was out of town at a work conference, so Jackson was a little teary that he couldn't open up his gift from us. . .but I easily got him distracted and all of us out the door for school and work!


After school/work, we met Mimi and B.B. at the Purple Cow for dinner and a milkshake! And Jeremy made it back for dinner, so Jackson was excited. And THEN he finally got to open up his gift (golf clubs!). He was so excited.



Jackson wanted a Superhero party and he wanted everyone to bring their riding toys to our church gym. I couldn't figure out how I was going to make that work together, but my best friend, Mandy, helped me word the invitation: "Come dressed in costume ready to save the day - and bring your get-away wheels!" The kids had a great time.


Happy birthday, sweet Jackson! I cannot believe you are 5.
