Jackson's First Day of PreK3

Jackson's first day of PreK3 (at his new school) was this past Monday, August 23! He had a great first week of school and is enjoying his teacher, Ms. Mandy, as well as making new friends. I think this whole transition has been more nerve-wracking for me, ha! He's come home excited about their activities - but mostly he is excited about his new lunch box and his Toy Story thermos/cup. :) He's been helping me pack his lunch each night (we'll see how long that excitement lasts). . .

Henry Brooks Wolfe

And since I'm behind, I've not officially announced on the blog that we're having another BOY! Jackson is very excited to have a little brother, and we've finally agreed on a name - Henry Brooks Wolfe. Henry was Jeremy's dad's middle name - and my dad's name is Brooksher. So, this little guy has a great name! Here are the fabrics that I've picked out for the nursery. Now my poor mother-in-law has lots to do! Thanks, Gail!

The day I found out that we were having a boy, I went back to my office and my boss had two gifts - one wrapped up in pink and one wrapped up in blue! She had knitted TWO different gifts for me! This precious hat and sweater was in the BLUE gift. :) Should be perfect for Henry this winter!

Summer Fun

Well, I'm obviously WAY behind on posting. . .it's been nice to take a break, but I'm going to try to get back on track and keep up! Thought I'd use this post to upload some of my favorite pictures of the summer - to highlight what we've done. . .
