36 Weeks

Well, today we went to the doctor for my weekly visit. Dr. Breniman said I was dilated at 1.5 cm and 50% effaced! I know that I can stay like this for several more weeks, but it was a good sign that I am at least progressing. My ankles and feet are pretty swollen, but he said it was just a normal pregnancy thing - I just need to drink more water and watch the salt. I'm feeling pretty big, but we're excited - Jackson will be here in a few weeks. . .

Jeremy's Been Busy!

Mandy and I were working hard in the nursery this weekend, so Jeremy stayed busy too! A few weekends ago, he put the pack 'n play together - it's ready and waiting in our bedroom. This weekend, he put together the bouncer, swing, and even the activity car. . .It's going to be a long time before Jackson will be able to "play" in the car, but it's ready and waiting for him!

Fun Things for Jackson

My high school friends and their moms threw a great shower for me this past weekend - we had so much fun visiting and spending time together. Thanks everyone for the great gifts! Jackson definitely has some fun toys and "things" to keep him entertained. We feel so blessed to have such wonderful support from our friends and family.












My best friend and college roommates came into town to help celebrate as well - thanks Mando, Mere, and Jen for helping me work on the nursery! Special thanks to Mandy for helping me organize the nursery - we even started washing some of Jackson's clothes. . .We ran errands and worked hard! I'm exhausted, and I think I wore out Mandy as well!
