Wheel Watcher!

Jackson's a Wheel Watcher! He had a really good time tonight watching Wheel of Fortune. He was finishing his dinner when he realized that the show was on. He started squealing when the wheel turned. I think he was helping the teen best friends solve the puzzle. :)

Cousins Learning to Share

Jarrod, Heather, Judson and Grandmother came to visit today! It was definitely funny to see the boys play now that both of them are on the move. Judson would start playing with something and Jackson would go over and grab it away. See examples below. . .

"I'm not sure what you are doing, Judson."

"I'll take the rest of those, thank you."

"Umm, excuse me. You gave me that bath toy for Christmas."

Uncle Matt's Jeans Part 2

So, I forgot that Mimi gave me two pair of Matthew's jeans. These are the best ones. . .the Wranglers! They look brand new - Matthew must not have liked them. :)

Uncle Matt's Jeans

Uncle Matt - Jackson wore your jeans to school today! Mimi found these jeans that Matthew wore (almost 25 years ago) and brought them over to Jackson a couple of months ago. Thanks for sharing, Uncle Matt! Jackson's teachers thought his jeans were too funny. . .They were amazed that Mimi still had these. :)

Jackson's Version of Crawling

Many of you have heard me try to describe how Jackson crawls. Thought you'd like to see for yourselves. . .

Baylor vs. Arkansas

This past weekend, Jeremy and I went to Dallas to see the Baylor/Arkansas basketball game at the American Airlines Center (of course, it was also a good excuse for me to see my best friend, Mandy). Mandy and her husband Tommy hosted a Baylor/Arkansas pre-game party and it was lots of fun. I do have to say that I wore red (don't call me a traitor Baylor friends and family) and I'm glad I did - Jeremy needed my support! We were the only ones in red at the pre-game party. The game was a good one, and I can honestly say that I didn't cheer for one team over the other because I didn't have a voice. . .Started getting sick on Thursday afternoon and successfully lost my voice by Saturday. :) In fact, today was my first full day back at work this week. Yuck! Anyway, Jackson had fun with Mimi and Grandpa BB (although he was also feeling under the weather) and Jeremy and I had a fun, but quick trip to Dallas.

We ran into Aunt Jen, my cousin Jeff and his wife Jill before the game! Jeff and Jill are expecting a little girl, Emory Elise, due in March!

And Jackson turned 10 months old yesterday! No great new pics, but I'm sure more will come soon. :)

Jackson Meets Aunt Pat - and Happy New Year!

Happy New Year - and goodbye to Aunt Pat! Every Christmas, my great aunt (Grammy's sister) comes to visit for a few weeks. Growing up we always looked forward to seeing Aunt Pat in December - it was the only time we saw her all year long (she comes all the way from Ohio). This year was very special because Jackson finally got to meet Aunt Pat! She's been watching him grow up via our blog, so it was neat for them to finally meet. We made several visits to see Grammy and Aunt Pat these past few weeks. We love you, Aunt Pat!

Grammy had knee replacement done right before Christmas - Jackson thought he'd show her how the bicycle works.
This is how we found Jackson waking up from his nap on New Year's Day. We've lowered his bed, so he's figured out how to peep through to see us. . .

Happy New Year! 2007 has been an exciting year and we are anxious to see what 2008 brings.
