Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Jackson and I went to watch Jeremy play with our church softball team tonight. We had a great time! Jackson was pretty much covered in dirt by the time we left. (I forgot my camera, so I took these with my cell phone - sorry for the poor quality).

Happy Memorial Day

Hope everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend! Jackson and I had a fun weekend, but Jeremy had to work. :( Sunday afternoon we headed out to Riverfest and watched a kids' concert (Brian Kinder). Jackson danced a little bit, but we mainly just sweated. It was HOT!! So, we didn't stay very long. . .

This afternoon, we headed over to Mimi and Grandpa BB's house. We only tried Jackson in the pool once last year (and he didn't like it). So, I had high hopes for this summer. As you can tell from the pic below, Grandpa BB and I were not successful in putting Jackson in the crab floatie. He was not having any part of that! (Sorry about the pic of me in my swimsuit - Mimi had to capture the whole picture and not just Jackson's face!)

Basically, the only way Jackson would stay in the pool was if I sat him on my lap and we threw the ball back and forth to Grandpa BB (which we did for a long time).
Phew! Now that all the pool drama is over, I can just play with all my toys here at Mimi's house!

Jackson's Masters Shirt

Thanks "Aunt" Mandy for my Masters shirt! My school friends told me that they all wanted shirts just like mine. I told them that my Aunt Mandy also got me a really cool Masters hat, but I don't really like to wear it all that much. It messes up my hair. :)

Girls' Weekend and Boys' Weekend

My college roommates and I met up this past weekend to spend some time together (we've done this annually since we graduated). We had a great time laughing, talking, eating, and talking some more! And we started planning next year's girls' weekend - we'll all be celebrating our 30th birthdays next year. . .(this is the only group picture I got - sorry it's blurry)

Jackson and Jeremy had their own boy time in the car - they went down to Grandmother's house. No pictures - they were too busy. I hear that everyone had a good time! Thanks to Grandmother, Aunt Glenda and Granny for keeping Jackson entertained! When they got back tonight, Jackson thoroughly enjoyed eating his yogurt.

Disney

I'm back! Got back from Disney World last night - and, yes, I promise that it was really a work trip! I learned a lot and had a fabulous time. . .here are a few highlights from the trip. And yes, Jeremy and Jackson survived without me (with some help from Mimi and Grandmother, of course.) :) Looking forward to returning to Disney World in several years with Jackson. . .
