Halloween Carnivals

Happy Halloween! Thanks to Mimi for picking up Jackson and getting him to the carnival. Here are a few pictures of our tiger from the carnival tonight. . .

This past Sunday night, we went to our church's carnival. Jackson saw two of his school friends there! It was fun - a little overwhelming for Jackson, but will be much more fun next year.

Early Halloween with Judson

We had a fun weekend visiting Jeremy's family! Cousins Judson and Jackson got to hang out and have their pictures made. . .Grandmother asked us to bring Jackson's Halloween costume, so we got some good pictures of the cousins. By the time Halloween actually gets here, you're going to be tired of seeing Jackson in his tiger costume! :) We're definitely getting our money's worth out of this costume (we wore it tonight to our church's festival - more pictures later this week). Hope you all had a good weekend!

First School Project

For those of you who asked, here is a picture of Jackson's first school project! Unfortunately, the kids decorated their pumpkins last Tuesday and Wednesday (the two days Jackson was out sick)! So, Ms. Connie had some of Jackson's friends decorate his pumpkin for him. Ms. Paige is holding Jackson in the picture below - Jackson's favorite teachers are Ms. Paige and her mom, Ms. Connie. He's happy when they're there! :)

And by the way - Jackson is feeling better. He went back to school today. Still has a cough, but is definitely getting back to being his happy self!

Happy Birthday Greer!

Happy Birthday, Greer! Jackson is so sad that he missed your birthday party this afternoon. He is still not feeling well, so he didn't get to come see you in your kitty costume (he sent me to take pictures and drop-off his gift). We tried on his tiger costume last night, so I thought I would post a picture of what he had planned to wear to the party today. We hope Jackson feels better soon - I think we might be making another trip to the doctor tomorrow. . .

It's Finally Friday!

Whew! The week is over! It's been a long one. . .Here's an overview of our week:

Monday: Jeremy starts a new job. Jackson's daycare calls to say he is sick. Jeremy takes an early lunch to pick him up, then I meet them at home. Take Jackson to the doctor - he just has a cold/virus (no ear infection!).

Tuesday: I stay home with Jackson. He's pretty happy to be so congested, but he is still running a fever.

Wednesday: Jeremy re-arranges his work schedule so that he can stay home with Jackson and I go back to work. Wednesday night around midnight - our electricity goes out (during the storms, a tree on our street fell on the power lines).

Thursday: I take a shower by flashlight and feed Jackson by candelight and flashlight. He doesn't want to eat because he is more interested in the candle than his bottle or cereal. I take Jackson to school because he is feeling better (no fever). I go to work with wet hair (sorry, no pic of that!). Come home from work, still no power. Power finally comes on around 6 pm (YEA!). Jackson is fussy - only had one 45 minute nap at school today! :) He goes to bed early. Jeremy comes home from work as I discover that we have no working cable or phone line. We actually read books and go to bed early.

Friday: Cable guy calls me at 4:30 pm to say our cable should be working now. Phone people tell me that we might not have service until Saturday at 9 pm. Jeremy is sad - no internet until Saturday night!?! Phone line is actually restored tonight around 7 pm (Jeremy is happy because we now have cable AND internet!) Woo hoo!

The picture of Jackson says it all. . .thank goodness it's the weekend! Hope you have a good one!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch this morning! We made a quick trip before Jackson's morning nap, so we tried to snap pictures quickly - and I think we got some cute ones. . .It was nice and cool this morning and was beginning to warm up as we left the pumpkin patch. We got a couple of pumpkins - and a very small one for Jackson to take to school. His teachers said that he needed a pumpkin for a school project. Not sure how that's going to turn out! :)

We ran into some friends as we were leaving. Will and Jackson were pretty interested in Kate - it took some coaxing to get them to look at the camera instead of Kate. :)

Professional Pictures

We had a photo shoot for Jackson this past weekend! :) Our photographer sent us a link and password to view the photos - they are too cute. If you want to take a look at them, send me an email and I'll send you the link and password.
