And in case you notice, yes, Jackson has a black eye (it's looking much better). He fell at school last Monday. . .I told his teachers "no more black eyes until after his birthday pictures!" They laughed.

Jackson's Tonka Truck

Uncle Matt gave this Tonka Truck toy to Jackson for Christmas. A few weeks ago, he figured out how to push the truck while on his knees. He's gotten the hang of that and can go pretty fast! So, I decided tonight to try to see if he could walk and push it. . .(Sorry about the outfit - he had on cute overalls, but his dinner ended up ALL over them).

College Roommates 2025

Jackson and I ran over to see Parker and Mackenzie yesterday morning. Parker's dad (Matt) and Jeremy were roommates in college. Now they have boys a couple of months apart. . .so, I guess they can be roommates one day (the year 2025 if my calculations are correct)!

Birthday Twins at 11 Months

Lauren reminded me that the birthday twins will turn 1 in three weeks! Yikes! Jackson had fun playing with all of Sydney's toys today. It's definitely more difficult to get pictures of the kiddos now that they are both constantly on the move.
Sydney showed Jackson how to "break it down" - the girl can dance! Jackson just stared at her while she bounced up and down. I wish I had captured it on video. . .

Valentine's Day Party

Jackson's teachers planned such a fun Valentine's Day party for the kiddos! I wasn't able to go, but I left my camera - so they took some pictures for me. . .Enjoy!

Such an exciting day - Jackson didn't take a nap at school (they had the party in the afternoon, but he must have just been anticipating all the big excitement)! Hope everyone had a very Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

11 Months Old

Jackson turned 11 months old today. I know that everyone says that time flies by, but "flying by" cannot even begin to describe how quickly this year has gone (and Jackson has grown). He's very active and keeps us on our toes at all times. He continues to be a great eater (as evidenced by the chubby cheeks), and introducing table foods has definitely been a messy/fun/interesting experience. Today, we headed over to see my grandmother (no pics because my camera battery died), but first we stopped and met Greer and Merrit! It was a beautiful day to walk around the lake, and Greer and Jackson had a nice stroll (and Merrit and I had a great chat).

Greer even shared her raisins and Cheerios with Jackson. Thanks, Greer!
