Ice Cream

Sunday afternoon, Jeremy heard the ice cream truck coming down our street. We decided that Jackson needed to try some ice cream (he was taking a nap). I got to the truck and looked at all the choices. After some discussion with 2 little boys who were also buying ice cream, Jackson ended up with a push-up sherbert-type thing. He liked it okay. However, I think maybe we'll stick with the Kroger-brand popsicles this summer (I could have bought a box of popsicles for the same amount I paid for this thing!). Well, maybe one more ice cream truck purchase (when Jackson's awake to "experience" it). :)

Dad let me have my first bite while I was standing at the coffee table. Mom then encouraged us to move to the highchair (I was a little impatient about this move).

Then I sucked on it and ate a few bites (I think Mom finished the rest of it).

Spring Trip to Grandmother's

We had a change of plans this past weekend. . .I was supposed to meet up with my college roommates for a girls' weekend, and Jeremy was to take Jackson to visit his family. . .BUT, as everyone reminds me - things do not always go as planned. Jeremy got sick on Thursday, so we cancelled our girls' weekend just in case. Then he felt better on Friday, so we decided to go see his family on Friday night. Then he was sick again on Saturday, but seems to be feeling better today. Let's just say that we thought it was food poisoning, but now we're not for sure! :) Here are some pics from our quick visit. . .We had a fun time!

I didn't want to sit in the chair, I wanted to rock it! Jackson was so enamored with the chair, Grandmother had to move it out of Jackson's room on Saturday night so that he would sleep (instead of wanting to play with it!).

Happy B-day to My Mommy!

My mommy turned 29 today! She keeps saying 29 and holding, whatever that means. Mimi cooked one of mommy's favorite meals last night. I got to eat some barbecue chicken and potato casserole and it was pretty good! So, Mimi sent home leftovers for me. :) I also heard something about some Texas chocolate sheetcake, but I didn't get to try any of that. Daddy got mommy a purse she's been wanting and we both got her birthday cards (I got to use my green crayon on her card). She says to tell everyone thanks for the emails, calls and cards!

Our Beautiful Weekend

We had a great weekend! Jackson & I met Sydney & Lauren at the zoo on Saturday afternoon. It was a beautiful afternoon and the kiddos (and moms) had a great time talking and enjoying the outdoors.

Avery and Shannon stopped by to visit us on Sunday afternoon. Jackson shared his car with Avery - but then wasn't really sure he wanted to share after he saw her in it. The kids are getting so big! Thanks for stopping by!
