Just wanted to catch up on the pictures that we've taken the last few days of this month. . .

We had so much fun at Reese's birthday party! Reese's mom is fun, too!

Kelly brought Parker and Mackenzie over to play on Friday night (our version of "Girls Night In" with the kids). We ordered a pizza (I think the boys ate more than Mackenzie - and maybe more than me and Kelly) and just let the kids play. Mackenzie even brought some doughnut holes to share with Jackson. Kelly snuck one to Jackson when they were leaving. :) When we said our prayers before bedtime, we were thanking God for our friends and family, and Jackson says, "Thank you, Kelly, donut, Amen." Pretty funny.

Aunt Jen and my best friend Mandy have both expressed concern about Jackson's lack of Baylor "gear" (we do live in Hog country, I remind them). :) Aunt Jen and Uncle Joe gave Jackson this Baylor t-shirt for his birthday, so he wore it today for St. Patrick's Day!

Sydney's Birthday Party

Happy Birthday to my birthday twin, Sydney! On Saturday, she had such a fun party. It is so much fun to share a birthday with her - and our mommies really enjoy getting us together. Sydney always gives me "lovin" - and although I don't always act like I enjoy it, I really do. I'm just trying to be cool. :) Happy 2 to us, Sydney!

Sydney's mom is so awesome! She put together an Easter egg hunt for one of the activities at Sydney's party. WOW!

Mimi took us to a Brian Kinder concert for the kiddos at her school. It was cold and rainy outside, so the turnout was not very good. Almost a private concert for us! :)

Jackson's Actual Birthday

As you can tell from previous posts, we have really celebrated Jackson's 2nd birthday! We had a great time with friends (at Oogles-n-Googles) and family (at our house). After celebrating all weekend long, we had a low-key day on Jackson's actual birthday (Monday). Mimi and I took a cookie cake to Jackson's class after their nap time. The kiddos made a huge mess and loved it. Mimi was wiping Jackson's frosting face, here was their conversation:

Jackson: Amen.
(Too funny! His teachers said they had thanked God for the snack before we arrived with the cookie cake. I guess he thought we were praying again.) :)

Daddy had to work late, so Uncle Matt came and took us to Chick-fil-a for dinner! Then we had one last candle blow-out.

One more post from J's birthday party (as if you haven't already seen enough). Mimi took this picture and I just laughed when I saw it. The birthday twins love each other!

We went today for Jackson's 2-year-old check-up. He is 36 1/2 inches tall (97%), weighs almost 32 pounds (90%) and is overall a healthy little boy! Our doctor was pleased to see how well he was doing both physically and developmentally. Yeah, Jackson!

Catching Up

I'm a little behind on blogging - and don't have many pictures (we've been busy, but we've just not been taking many pictures). Starting last Sunday (Feb 15), Jackson had the stomach virus for 6 days and then got an ear infection. Not too much fun. That week did not warrant any picture-taking. :)

These pictures were taken last weekend as we were getting over the sickness(es). J loves to read.

We came home from Target with some new "Car" shoes. Thank goodness they had J's size, or we might have had a major meltdown in the middle of Target. (I learned a lesson - always make a quick glance to make sure they have lots of sizes before showing Jackson the cool shoes).

While sick, we watched lots of shows - Nemo, Elmo, Mickey, Pooh. I find myself with these songs stuck in my head. If anyone needs a performance from the Elmo Loves You DVD, I bet the Wolfe household can sing all the songs for you.

This weekend, we went to visit Jeremy's family. We had a great time with Grandmother, Aunt Glenda, Granny, Heather & Jarrod. Unfortunately, cousin Judson and Jackson were not able to play together because Judson was sick! We were sad, but it's okay - Judson will be coming to see us soon to help celebrate Jackson's birthday!
