Loving Golf

Since April, Jackson has been taking golf "lessons" at the First Tee on Saturday mornings. When I use the word "lesson" - it is a very loose term. :) They line up all the 3-4 year olds on the driving range with a bucket of balls and some tees. Then the parents help tee up the balls, and they have volunteer coaches who walk around and give the kids different tips. Mr. Bill is the regular volunteer with this group, and Jackson is finally warming up to him. Jackson LOVES going - gets up on Saturday mornings and bugs us until we head to the car by 8:30. Mr. Bill told me yesterday that maybe Jackson would be the next Phil Mickelson. Ha!!! (He said he would say the next Tiger, but he didn't know if I would appreciate that). :)

This video is from the beginning of May (hence the jacket) - definitely no jacket needed yesterday! Jackson has always loved golf, but he really began to connect with the ball ("I'm hitting it in the air, Mommy!") in early May. The birthday gift (golf clubs) have definitely been a hit!
