Snow Days/Cabin Fever

We had our Sunday School class's Super Bowl party at our house on Sunday night - and we had a blast (the only pictures I took were of some of the girls putting together toiletry packs for a church project). We were so tired after everyone left, we picked up the house and went to bed - I had no idea we would wake up on Monday to snow! (In fact I got up and got ready before I realized that it was snowy and schools had closed).

Jackson trying to make a snow angel and not liking that the snow was getting in his eyes (it was still snowing pretty heavily).
We've done lots of art projects. . .
Put Valentine stickers on our school friends' valentines. . .
Did lots of watercolor paintings. . .
Pretended like he was daddy (wearing daddy's scrub top and eating a cookie).

And this morning I brought the snow/ice inside for Jackson to play. I didn't want to get bundled up and go outside. So, he played with it at the table. . .

And then I opened the back door and I let him throw it all outside. :)

On a different note, Jackson's teachers sent home a note saying we needed to decorate a shoe box for Jackson's Valentine's party. Last week, Daddy took over the project for me and got all the supplies. He and Jackson had a great time decorating.

Jeremy let Jackson put on all the hearts, and he helped with the letters. Jackson is so proud. :)

You have to get really creative with multiple snow days, huh :) Looks like you managed very well. Glad Jackson & Mimi had some fun time together today.
