Christmas at Home

After all the excitement of the days leading up to Christmas, we decided to enjoy Christmas Day at home as a family. We had a very low-key day, enjoying our toys, napping when Jackson napped, etc. It was nice to relax and reflect upon the true reason for the season. Thank you, Lord, for sending your son - I can only imagine how Mary must have felt as a mother. Seeing these precious eyes look up at me just melts my heart.
Then he puts on his silly sunglasses and makes me laugh
(thanks, Jonas)!
Oh, he is too funny!
And he is always trying to show Daddy something on the internet.
From our family to yours, we hope you had a Merry Christmas! Jeremy and I would like to thank our family for all their love and support. Jackson is so blessed to have so many family members who love him and want to be a part of his life.

Dear Melissa, as a mother myself, my favorite vrse in the Nativity Story is
"and Mary took all these things and pondered them in her heart."

B/c that is what I would do if I had been Mary. Our children help us reflect so much better about life issues...

I am so glad you and Jeremy had a wonderful Christmas.

Jackson is precious! I love his little smile. I definitely want to get together when we come in town some time. I would love for him and Aiden to meet. I hate that we missed out on hanging out with all the guys! (His future pledge class!!!)
