Sunday Afternoon Attempt

Our Sunday School small group had planned to go to the Arkansas Travelers (minor league baseball team) game on Sunday afternoon. We attempted to go and take Jackson - but we didn't make it out of the parking lot! I'm not really sure what we were thinking. . .it was pretty hot and sunny and Jackson was NOT a happy camper. Maybe we'll try a night game next time. Oh well, at least we tried! :) Needless to say, we did not get any pictures of Jackson in the parking lot at the baseball stadium.

Here is my favorite picture from this weekend. . .

My neighbor, Nicole, and her little boy Will always like to go walking with us! Late Sunday afternoon I finally got Jackson settled down (he loves to sleep in the sling that Mimi got me), and Nicole & Will wanted to go for a walk. The weather was nice, so we went! Needless to say, I did not change into my walking clothes for fear of waking Jackson. So, here is a picture of me in my dorky sling - I know it's not cool, but I'm for whatever works! And Jackson loves to sleep in the sling, so I'll continue to wear it. . .

At least you tried to join your friends at the game, way to go! And, love the sling, it looks like little Jackson will soon be too long to snuggle in the sling! He is growing so fast! I've got to meet him before he gets too big.

We attempted the Trav's game last Friday night and I must say there were difficult times and "what were we thinking" moments, but it was fun to get out of the house. I was worried the entire time that a fly-ball would hit my children in the head. Jonas fell on the concrete (hard) and Reese had to be fed during the 6th inning. We survived to the best of our ability!

I do love your sling and I am sure J loves to be snuggled up against you. Our sling seems bigger where the baby would be and it completely covers the baby's face. I am scared of my babe getting smothered. And like you, we do whatever works!!

Love your sling! I got a Hotsling with Ava and loved it...I only wished I'd used it more. It is kind of hippy, but it works!
