Jackson went to the doctor last Tuesday morning (March 13) to be checked for jaundice, but the doctor thought his coloring looked fine, so they didn't even draw blood. He was 7 lbs 5 oz when we left the hospital on Sunday, and was already up to 7 lbs 9 oz at the doctor, so he is doing good. It was about time for Jackson's feeding during the doctor's visit, so he basically screamed through the entire check-up. But, he enjoyed the car ride! We go back this week (Thursday) for his regular check-up.
My mom stayed with us several nights last week (and Jeremy's mom came up to stay with us one night as well), and it was so helpful! I've had some emotional moments, and I'm sure those are going to come and go - I'm just thankful that we have such wonderful family and friends who truly support us. We love you all!

Hang in there on the emotional roller coaster.... I am not sure it ever stops! :) Glad to see you are getting help from everyone... Lord knows any mommy needs that! jackson is precious and I can't wait to meet him!

Melissa, your routine will get better and easier. I can remember the first few weeks with Jonas and there were some tough times. We are having our baby today actually. It's after midnight and I am headed to bed soon. The induction starts at 7am. Can't wait!

It is so good to see pics of Jackson. Can you believe it, you're a momma! yeah! And I know you will be a good one, the best one for Jackson! Enjoy every minute of his life...it goes so fast. I called your parents and talked to dad. All he could say was..he has bball hands! Tell Steve he has bball hands!

He is so beautiful! I haven't called because I figured you are just as busy as I am. Just wanted to check in and say "hi". I went out today with the baby BY MYSELF!!! We just went to Expressly For You and Bedford Camera, but it was a start! Lets plan a lunch date soon- maybe next week??? Even if it is Subway at my house... no promises on whether the floors will be swiffered though :)!
